It's run down, but they are trying and it's very noticeable. Yes you will see chipped framing around the mirror thats normal wear and tear. I love when I can get warm eggs and sausage for breakfast with milk. They also had juice, yogurt, bagels, bread, cereal, oranges, muffins. The staff was friendly. Things were cleaned. Room was quiet. Pools was clean but super cold (prolly just serviced kind of cold) hot tub was nice ans well needed after a long day of travel. It was perfect for what we needed on an overnight stay.
Had a good experience the front desk guy santi was very kind he was also very helpful and gave same a good room it’s was clean had good towels and soap as well as very quiet so I have no complaints good spot to stay at for a night or 2 and the Mountain View is beautiful
We needed a overnight stop on our family travel. This was convenient on our travels; the room was clean, and my reservation was found quickly. Nice continental breakfast with nothing fancy but all we needed. I'd stay again.
Our TV never worked. The phone in the room didnt work so we did have to go directly to the front desk several times for things. The night time attend was the absolute best! He is the one who wears ear phones. He was so nice and very helpful.

Rooma were very clean and beds were comfortable. Our air conditioner did not work and when we opened up the window there was no screen. We asked to switch rooms and they quickly accommodated us. We slept good!
We booked for the wrong dates and when we arrived the maanager was nice enough to help us cancel the booking and give us a room for the same price that weekend. Room was very clean, well maintained and spacious. Breakfast was standard but good. Location was nice as well, on a hill, 30 mins from either Vail or Glenwood Springs.
All the negative reviews are clearly from a time before new management took over. This is a great little hotel with a wonderful location. Only 4 minutes from the ice castles, too. Beds were comfy and clean, bathroom was immaculate. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we didn't use them. We were amused by the "sad elevator" . Great trip, thanks so much!
